We are an oversubscribed 11-16 girls’ Academy with 975 pupils where learners are supported by an outstanding programme of personal development, guidance, a personalised curriculum and high expectations. In January 2013 Ofsted recognised us as outstanding in all areas.

Fairfield is a great place to work and we are entering into an exciting phase in our development. We are expanding our existing team of Midday Staff.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of English to join our hard-working, reflective and forward thinking English Faculty - it is a flagship Faculty with a team of superb teachers who work together extremely well. Pupil progress for English is outstanding. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to teach National Curriculum English Language and Literature across the school. This role also includes a small commitment to the teaching of Drama at KS3.
