Remote Learning - 2020/21

The remote learning page of the school website supports girls when completing their learning at home. Please see the Remote Learning Guidance for Parents and Carers for more details on how we are offering a combination of approaches to teach our pupils. Pupils can access Microsoft Teams through their Office 365 login. This video guide and this user guide explains how pupils can access Microsoft Teams, their school e-mail and Office 365 to complete their learning at home.

Please contact Mrs Rowland for any additional support with Microsoft Teams at erowland@fairfieldhighschool.co.uk.

Pupils learning at home are expected to follow their school timetable each day and will find their lessons set through the ‘assignment’ function in Microsoft Teams. Pupils will be given instructions as to what work needs to be submitted to their teacher and can contact teachers through the ‘chat’ function of Microsoft Teams for extra help.

Fairfield High School for Girls understands the challenges facing girls and families and we are here to help you when needed. Please contact school by phone (0161 370 1488)  or e-mail (admin@fairfieldhighschool.co.uk) to arrange a conversation with Form Tutors or Heads of Year for further support.

Accessing Digital Materials - The video guide on this page has been created by Mrs Rowland to explain how pupils can access a range of digital materials to support their learning at home, including Microsoft Teams, their school e-mail and Office 365.
