Learning at Home

Welcome to the 'Learning at Home' page of the school website. This page supports Fairfield girls in completing their learning at home during the school closure. Work for pupils can be found on the 'Independent Learning Booklets' page which give a summary of the work to be completed within Microsoft Teams, MathsWatch or elsewhere.  Microsoft Teams can be accessed through the Office 365 login. The page 'Beyond the Curriculum' contains a variety of extra activities if the set work has been completed or if pupils want a further challenge. Please note the two following points regarding the work that has been set:

  • If pupils need any help with their learning they can e-mail their teacher or contact them through Microsoft Teams. A member of SLT can be contacted Monday to Friday 8am - 3pm by telephone (0161 370 1488).
  • There is guidance on a timetable to follow in the Independent Learning Booklets. As a family you can decide on an amount of work to complete that is suitable for your circumstances, please contact school if you need more advice.

This is a challenging time for all members of the school community and the 'Mental Health and Wellbeing' page provides important advice and support for children and adults. In this section of the website families and children can access information on staying safe online and careers guidance. Year 11 pupils can visit the 'Preparing for College' page for resources, study packs and website links to get ready for September.

**Update 28th June - New Independent Learning Booklet 6 has been published for Monday 29/06 to Friday 17/07 **
